About Us L.A. Metal Buildings primarily designs and manufactures self-framing metal buildings. We also build rigid frame buildings, polyurethane panel buildings, piping utilidors and have an insulation division that insulates tanks, treaters, heaters, pipes and vessels. Although the oil and gas industry is mainly responsible for our success, our innovation and ingenuity in other areas have contributed as well. For example we have custom designed and manufactured shelf units and closets for condominiums, gazebos for golf courses, self-storage units (see custom design), and shelters for ball diamonds. For agricultural use we have built sheds, garages, and storage buildings for feed and equipment. sheds, and garages. Our garden sheds and garages have been great in residential areas as well. We have also designed shelters for the telecommunications industry as per customer specifications. Any of our buildings can include custom interior finishing including insulation and aluminum sheeting, steel sheeting, drywall or painted plywood. As well - we also manufacture accessories for metal buildings, sliding doors for barns or sheds, ridge ventilators and louvers, door canopies, fan hoods and chart tables. We supply steel man doors and double doors with hardware, structural steel skids, and many other metal building components. Our field crews travel to locations throughout Western Canada and the Northwest Territories to erect buildings on site. Buildings vary in size from the small enclosure or cabinet (e.g. 2' x 3' x 3') to the larger building structure (e.g. 50' x 170' x 20' high), depending on customer specification. |
